Filming Time and Departure

We now have two weeks left to film the remaining footage for our music video. Unfortunately, one of our group members Rhyce (Main Actor) has left sixth form in order to pursue an apprenticeship. Due to being one of our main actors, Rhyce has insured us he will still feature in our music video but due to him finishing at 5:30pm every evening our time is now limited.
Regardless, we are still confident that our filming is going to be finished and we are going to use every free time possible to get it completed. The scenes that can be filmed of Lucy separately we are going to complete during free periods and scenes that Rhyce is included in we are going to complete after school and weekends.

New footage...

This is the new footage we have edited in. We are now planning when we are going to visit the park to continue the rest of our fiming and get the video completed.

Editing

We have now finished editing our latest piece of filming into our existing edited scenes. We are now very confident on our video and cannot wait to finish it! I will post evidence of our existing footage so far.

Latest Recording

We have finished filming the scenes that are on the streets. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to use the park as the pond had frozen over, and we wanted to use the pond as a main location within the park and use it for some footage action. We are going to film this scene as soon as the pond is at full use again.

Change of Location

Our original plan was to film our park scene in birkenhead park. Although this location was ideal and had ideal features we would of liked to use, it was hard for time keeping and inconvenient to access in our spare time. We decided to relocate to Central Park which is just down the road from our school. This has allowed us to film during our free lessons enabling us to get more done.

Musical Instruments

We have decided as a group we are going to look into using musical instruments to make our video look different from style models and other peoples work. This isn't a definite as we aren't entirely keen on the idea incase it breaks our relatable narrative, but we are going to see what it looks like tomorrow.

Latest Recording

Lucy, Rhyce and Kirstie went out and done filming in the street. We want our music video to be based in a casual life setting so filming on the street was vital. In the scenes that have been film today consist of Lucy and Rhyce walking towards each other around a corner. This eventually leads into them bumping shoulders and looking back at each other at different times. We thought this would be a great addition to the narrative we are aiming to create. As I was off ill and wasn't present for this filming I have contributed towards the editing of this scene.

In todays lesson we are going to use this lesson and our free lessons today to finish most of the remaining scenes left to film.
